Influenza and Pneumococcal Immunization Clinics

The CDC has reported that the single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each year.
      
Flu Shots Available in Bridgewater Township Jan. 17th or 24th

Influenza activity continues to escalate in the United States as the country continues to experience high levels of influenza-like-illness (ILI). The Federal Centers for Disease Control (CDC) continue to recommend influenza vaccination for people who have not yet been vaccinated this season. The Bridgewater Township Division of Health continues to offer all adults in the community seasonal influenza vaccinations. The following seasonal influenza clinic dates have been scheduled for individuals 18 years of age or older. These immunizations will be provided in partnership with the Community Visiting Nurses Association.

Community Flu Clinic at Branchburg Municipal Building Jan. 21st

The Greater Somerset Public Health Partnership (GSPHP) is sponsoring a Community Influenza Immunization Clinic at the Branchburg Municipal Building on Monday January 21st from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Bring the entire family; vaccines will be available for adults and children 6 months of age and older at this convenient one stop clinic.

Green Brook Family Medicine will be administering the vaccines and a physician will be at the clinic to answer vaccine related questions.

Most major insurance plans will be accepted. No co-pays or deductibles are required for participants with Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage, Aetna PPO; AmeriHealth PPO; Cigna (without PCP on card); HealthNet; Blue Cross BlueShield/Horizon Products; United Healthcare/Oxford.

Additional HMO/Commercial insurances without PCP listing on card may be accepted. Please present all insurance cards at the clinic to determine eligibility. Sorry, we are not able to take insurance plans that require you to list a primary care physician on your card.

For those without insurance, or plans that Green Brook Family Medicine does not participate with, the flu vaccine cost is $20 for the injectable, $20 for the Flu Mist Nasal Spray. For additional information call: 908-526-1300 ext. 183

Flu Shots for Seniors in Princeton January 24th

The Princeton Regional Health Department, Princeton will host a Senior Flu Shot Clinic at Princeton Borough Hall, 1 Monument Drive, Princeton, NJ 08542 on Thursday, January 24th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm (in the West Conference Room). Hi-Dose Flu Vaccinations are available only to people 65 and older. You do not need to be a resident of Princeton. Flu shots are free to those who present a Medicare Part B card or $40 to seniors without the card.
