Interactive Maps

Interactive internet maps provide access to GIS map information on the web. Unlike static maps on the web (like PDF or plain images) interactive maps allow the user to retrieve and view many different types of information from the map. The information is contained within the database that is part of the map. This enables Montgomery Township to deliver informative spatial data right to the public at their own computer in a format that is much more usable then previous static maps. We will be continuing to develop more applications in the future that will enables us to deliver more information to the public about the township.

Master Planning Maps

These interactive maps include the most current master planning and zoning information. Easements, FEMA flood map areas, critical slopes and wetlands, development constraints and optional development alternatives are among the information that canl be viewed. Searches can be done by address or lot and block. Much of this information was formerly only available at the township offices but now the public can easily access land use and planning data for purposes such as preparation for participation in public meetings.
