DRIVE-UP DROP-OFF RECYCLING EVENT
Sunday May 5, 2024, 11AM - 2PM
Montgomery Municipal Center
100 Community Drive, Skillman – rear lot
Collections included:
- Metal
- Electronics
- Paper shredding of sensitive documents (no 3-ring binders or binder clips; staples & paper clips are ok)
- Clothing, shoes, linens (to benefit Rescue Mission of Trenton)
- Non-perishable, non-expired food items (to benefit Montgomery Food Pantry)
- Plastic flower pots
- Tennis racquets (to benefit National Junior Tennis League)
- Bicycles (to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County)
- Sneakers (to benefit the MORE Foundation)
- Printer cartridges (collected by Technician X)
- Expired / unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications (collected by Somerset County Sheriff’s Office) – no liquids or sharps (syringes, needles)
The Montgomery Township Shade Tree Committee will also be giving away seedlings.
Requested items residents are invited to bring to donate to the Township Food Pantry:
- Condiments (mustard, ketchup)
- Salad Dressings
- Canned Fruit
- Cake or brownie mixes
- Icing
- Snacks
- Toiletries (soap, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.)
- Paper goods (napkins, toilet paper, paper towels)
- Cleaning (glass cleaner, all purpose cleaner, etc.)
- Laundry detergent
- Dish soap

The 2023 Earth Day Fair was a huge success with over 50 bikes donated to the Boys & Girls Club, electronics recycled and other trash turned to treasure. Watch a video in Instagram.
