This office supervises and directs the Buildings and Roads Division. Montgomery Township’s Container Facility allows residents to dispose of household items that are not recyclable, not hazardous waste and that cannot be collected by their trash hauler. Curbside Recycling is handled by Somerset County but many questions are answered in our Recycling section.

Garbage Collection

Montgomery Township residents contract privately for their curbside garbage removal needs. Those moving into a townhome or condominium community may wish to inquire of their property management company, which often contracts for this service for their residents. There are a number of trash haulers in our area. Please refer to the local business listings of any printed phone book or web-based business directory.

Buildings Division

This division is responsible for maintaining operations and cleanliness of all municipally-owned public buildings in Montgomery Township. Email the Buildings/Maintenance Foreman on right.
