Register Ready connects Montgomery's Emergency Response Agencies with residents who may have difficulty during an emergency/disaster because of disabilities or access and functional needs. The information provided will be held securely and used by first responders to better plan to serve them in a disaster or other emergency when family or caregivers may be unable to assist. It is critical that responders know if a resident relies on electricity for life-sustaining equipment or if there is a language barrier that may impede the response in an emergency.

Registering will help first responders, such as police, fire, and rescue squad personnel, make the best use of limited time and resources to help people who need special help or with no other options for evacuation during an emergency.
